WOW... How Time Flys !

I know most of you younger Mom's must hear ALL the time from us (ahem, dare I say) older Mom's..... "enjoy those little ones now...because Time Sure Does Fly and then they are all grown up!"..... Well, take it from me, it really is true! Where did the time go?

This is my oldest baby and she is now a senior in High School. She is working real hard on her last classes in High School, even taking 3 college classes to prepare. She wants to go to college to study Law or Psychology.
I had to share a few of my fave photos .... my most favorite is the western theme.

It is a stressful time of year.....especially working on the college applications! But in the end, it's all worth it..... I know I'm going to cry like a baby when I see her get her diploma on Graduation Day.

Well, I better get some work done today.....make it a good one!

p.s. One of our best investments we ever did for her was getting her braces. She had them on from 6th thru 8th grade. We did not have dental insurance but in the end, it was truly worth the money. I must say that she has the most beautiful smile now, which also improved her self-esteem.

She is beautiful and yes the dental work paid off. She has a models smile. My baby (last of 4) left for college this year. I said I would not suffer from the empty nest syndrome. I was wrong! Enjoy this year. I have a poem I wrote about my oldest son, when he was eight, called "Soon You're Gone"...he is 34 now. We are still very close and he has given me four snugglers, all boys, but very loving. Being G'ma is pretty fun, too.

My twins are 23 next month, you are so right about time flying by! I also have a gorgeous grandson almost 18 months old, such a joy and something for you to look forward to. My mother invested in Laurel's smile and the instant those braces were put on there was a miraculous change in her self esteem! She too, now has a beautiful smile.

Hi whendi, she is a beautiful girl. Time does fly by so quickly.. its almost scarey. makes me think of that song from fiddler on the roof.. sunrise sunset..
my youngest will turn 21 on tuesday! that just blows my mind. And I used to think those older moms must surely be crazy when they would say, enjoy them while theyre young.. youre going to miss these days. I used to think.. no I wont.. I cant wait for them to grow up. Now that Im here... I do often wish to go back in time and play with them again, make their halloween costumes again, throw them more birthday parties, go to their school concerts and musicals, listen to them play make believe games and so much more. Now there are some days when I think.. wow.. how did we get to this here so fast!!
yes, I'm sure you will cry. But you can also be excited for her as she begins the next chapter in her life, which will be huge for her!
I should know that you would have beautiful children.. Every thing you CREATE is wonderful!
heehee
hugs!
