BOOKS, BOOKS & MORE BOOKS!

Do you enjoy reading? Want a few books to read over the lazy summer afternoons or even the long cold winter nights?? Well, as you know, I'm still going through my Mom's house. She loved to read...I mean loved it! We have over 500 books (not kidding) to sell and they are mostly brand new or in perfect condition.

I am going to try to sell some on ebay.... multiple book lots too. I'll probably try to group them by author. So if you want to get some great deals on books that are in mint condition.....just pop on over to my ebay auctions. OR just send me an email if you are interested in books! They are mostly hardcovers too. She belonged to several book clubs.

This bunch is on ebay right now ..... they are all brand new never read hardcover books. These are the kind of books I will be selling. Although some I have are paperbacks too.

Adorable Little Pug Needs Adoption

Last Tournament of the Season

Well, this weekend we were in Philadelphia/New Jersey for my youngest daughters last AAU basketball tournament for this season. The girls played awesome....winning all their games! Their season ended with 30 games won and just 6 games lost.....WOW!

The tournament was held in New Jersey. A very beautiful complex that was located right on the Delaware River overlooking the city of Philadelphia. I had to take a walk along the shoreline .....and here was my view.....

This was the outdoor amphitheater .... cool outdoor seating ......

Unfortunately, we did not have any time to actually visit the city :( --- it was all business .....playing serious basketball and trying to dazzle the college recruiters that come to watch the girls play...... well, basketball season never ends......now she is in summer leagues.....fun fun...just what I want to do on a HOT summer night....sit in a HOT HOT gym....ack! But, I suppose once they are all grown up and move away from home....I'm going to miss these days!! So they tell me :)
