I just love these Whimsical SpoTTeD Clown Dawgs! I made a couple more after I received a few requests for more of these guys...they are so fun! And they do remind me of an antique carnival toy with those wonderful old aqua & red colors!Tuesday, November 17, 2009

Pink Zebra?
Oh Yes! There really are little pink zebras..... but they are like fairies....very reculsive! Ha ha..

I just adore making these little fellas and I decided to try making one in a pink color with the black stripes. He came out so adorable! I have him available on ebay right now if you want to see more pictures & descriptions..... His auction will end this Monday and he does not have a reserve!
I picked up 2 very rare antique pump organ knobs while on one of my antique treasure hunts. I decided to give one of them to the pink zebra..... the one he has is labeled "Melodia 8ft" on the top of the knob.....very very cool indeed!
I made him a bow from a piece off of a vintage black ladies scarf, plus I gave him an old Uncle Wiggily playing card. I really like this smaller size as they fit perfectly inside a cabinet or a small dolly trunk with all your other antique toys.

WOW... How Time Flys !
I know most of you younger Mom's must hear ALL the time from us (ahem, dare I say) older Mom's..... "enjoy those little ones now...because Time Sure Does Fly and then they are all grown up!"..... Well, take it from me, it really is true! Where did the time go?
This is my oldest baby and she is now a senior in High School. She is working real hard on her last classes in High School, even taking 3 college classes to prepare. She wants to go to college to study Law or Psychology.
I had to share a few of my fave photos .... my most favorite is the western theme.
It is a stressful time of year.....especially working on the college applications! But in the end, it's all worth it..... I know I'm going to cry like a baby when I see her get her diploma on Graduation Day.

p.s. One of our best investments we ever did for her was getting her braces. She had them on from 6th thru 8th grade. We did not have dental insurance but in the end, it was truly worth the money. I must say that she has the most beautiful smile now, which also improved her self-esteem.
